Easter this year came upon a daybreak clear.
The bunny laid plastic eggs all over the back yard.
If you think that makes any sense, we will have you over next year to explain it to Jao. We did our best.
"Oh," he said, "the rabbit is probably in some pain, don't you think?"
We thought so.
No matter. We promised to give the rabbit a shot, or a shot of something to ease the pain, if we found it. In the meantime, we found eggs everywhere.
Easter bunnies, as we learned, are an agile lot, even hopping in and out of big pots.
We had to switch baskets, just to make room for evidence that what seemed like the most prolific egg laying rabbit in Pima County had visited our back yard.
We don't know why, but blue is his favorite color. Jelly beans taste better when laid in blue. Don't be fooled by the promise of rainbow eggs: Blue! Accept it!
Now that I read and see this, you are the one who had the most fun!
